If you don't know, the pitch is the field in which Quidditch is played.
To set your own up, here is what to do:
1. Find a nice, big, flat area of land.
2. Get some baking soda or cones or something to mark off the boundary of the pitch and keeper's box.
3. Find 4 balls- Try to get one tiny one (for the snitch)-.
4. Goals. These can be tricky. You can:
- lay buckets on top of something (for hight)
- Use some cones!
**- Get 4 rocks and 4 sticks,
-------make two goals with the rocks (like you would do with cones)
-------put the sticks into the ground so the goals can be easily seen - you can add frills or something to them if you wish-.
- Or come up with you own Quidditch goals!
- An arts and crafts type goal can be made like this!:
-----You need a thick stick, with a point
-----Tin foil (or duck tape)
-----Old newspapers
-----Tape
First, role up the old newspapers and form a 'O' (make it big, and thick enough to put you ball through easily!) You can also try to bend a clothes- hanger or wire to make it sturdy! But be careful! That can be hard....
Second, attach it to the stick.
Stick it into the ground, and you're done!
**~Remember, ask your parents permission first!~** (~why are we constantly asking for you to ask your parents? Cuz we don't want you to get hurt! ^^;)
- Or make up your own!
5. Hide the snitch somewhere.
6. Grab your broom!....
7. And play!
